The successor to the NNPO TC23 models, now with wifi and recording
This model of TC23S also has a built-in distance meter that is activated/deactivated via one of the rear function buttons.
The rangefinder is located in front of the sight
Like its predecessor, the TC23S models are also made in one solid piece to prevent the rear part of the body from moving out of position if the threads are subjected to stress.
To start and turn off the binoculars, there is an on/off button located about 10mm in front of the rear function buttons, so that you don't accidentally turn off the device if you want to change the magnification or colours.
The remaining function buttons on the back are used to change magnification, colours, recording and to enter the menu.
In terms of colour selection, this scope includes the following
- Black Hot
- White Hot
- Red hot
- Green Hot
- Iron red
- Fusion
Keep in mind that when sitting outside, the different colour choices are important as you can't always get a really good picture of your "usual" colour scheme in certain weather conditions.
Try changing the colour and you can often get a little extra in terms of sharpness on the target.
The TC23S-335 has a basic magnification of 3.34x and after that it has a digital zoom of 2x (6.68x magnification), 4x (13.36x magnification) and 8x (26.72x magnification)
The magnification is easily changed using the buttons on the back
The sight is also equipped with Hot Spot Tracking, which means that the display in the sight shows where it is hottest in the area you are observing, this feature can be activated or deactivated
You can also enable Picture In Picture (PIP) and then get a box at the top centre of the screen showing an enlargement of the centre of the reticle.
The NNPO TC23S models also do not have a built-in battery that can prevent charging, loosening, etc. but are powered by a 21700 or 18650 battery that sits criss-cross in the centre of the binoculars' body.
Please note that when using 18650 batteries, the battery life is reduced compared to using 21700 batteries.
